JUNK FOLDER PROBLEMS
All email providers have a junk or spam folder, however the settings can be quite different between your email providers.
TRAP: some email providers have their default setting to REJECT/DELETE any item it thinks as spam; you can miss important emails.
ISSUES:
- Many password reset links (when you forget some online password) are often incorrectly identified as spam.
- Some genuine emails such as my new email accountantuk.co.uk are occasionally selected as spam.
TIPS:
- The best setting is to allow SPAM to filter through to your junk folder but have it marked as spam; e.g. pic
